Mindfulness Now is an evidence-based programme drawing on both MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) and MBCT (Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy) — two of the most well-researched approaches to mindfulness available. Over eight weeks, you will be guided through a structured set of practices that build week by week, giving you a solid grounding in mindfulness that you can carry into everyday life.

Each session includes guided meditation, opportunity for reflection, and practical ideas for home practice. Sessions are supportive and relaxed — you won't be put on the spot, and there's no pressure to share more than you feel comfortable with.

By the end of the programme, you will have a working toolkit of mindfulness practices you can return to independently, along with a clearer understanding of how your own mind and body respond to stress.

What's covered across the eight weeks

The programme moves through eight themes: waking up to the present moment, awareness of the body, mindful movement, working with stress and habitual reactions, staying present with difficulty, building resilience, self-care, and compassion. Each week builds on the last, so attending the full course makes a real difference to what you get from it.

Who is this for

This course is well suited to anyone who wants to manage stress or anxiety more effectively, improve their focus and mental clarity, or simply build a consistent mindfulness practice with proper structure and support. It's also a good fit if you've felt low in mood, struggled with sleep, or find yourself running on empty and want practical tools to help.

No previous experience of mindfulness or meditation is needed. The course is designed to be accessible regardless of where you're starting from.

It isn't suitable for anyone currently in a mental health crisis or receiving intensive psychiatric treatment — if you're unsure whether it's right for you at this time, please get in touch before booking and we can have a chat.

What to expect from home practice

Each week you'll be offered some suggested practices to try between sessions — typically around 10 to 20 minutes a day. These are invitations rather than requirements, but engaging with them between sessions will deepen what you take from the course.
